About

Hi, I'm Carla.

I'm a learning and capability strategist, programme designer and coach. For the past decade I've helped organisations turn a complex set of training needs and talent requirements into learning experiences that change something.

Carla le Roux, learning and capability strategist, Cape Town

Underneath all of it is one question I have never quite stopped asking: what actually enables people to change?

I'm still interested in that messy, human middle – where strategy meets people, where capability meets culture, and where individuals, organisations and systems move from knowing change is needed to developing the capacity to make it happen.

What I bring

Strategic thinking
Understanding the organisational challenge behind the brief.
Learning expertise
Knowing how adults actually develop capability.
Systems thinking
Seeing learning as part of a wider organisational system.
Programme leadership
Coordinating with multiple stakeholders to create programmes with lasting impact.
Coaching
Creating the conditions for people to think, reflect and change.

Let's talk

Bring the problem.

You don't need the brief perfectly worked out before you get in touch. We can figure out what kind of intervention – if any – will actually help.
